Come along to this absolutely stunning reservoir cycle trail in the Peak District, and let our Instructors do all the hard work for you on this outdoors active kids party!
The centre staff will lead the childrens’ party on a cycle route around the beautiful reservoir, and there’s so much to see along the way. Their local knowledge and expert advice ensures that all of the kids capabilities are looked after. And of course mums and dads are welcome to come along too so why not dust that bike off or by all means rent some of our high spec mountain bikes if you prefer. We’ll even supply the safety helmets and bike locks too
There’s a leg friendly 3 mile route, or you can opt for the full 8 mile reservoir circuit which passes through some of the local villages – the main trail is near to the water’s edge, showing some of the most spectacular views of the reservoir. And of course you’ll also be able to see many different water sports taking place on the water as you pedal your way around
You can easily cycle round the main trail in about 1 hour if you’re going pretty fast, 2 hours if going at a moderate pace, or 3 hours if you plan stopping for lunch along the way. There are some great places to stop including cafes and pubs with fab beer gardens! Or if you prefer bring a picnic or BBQ with you
The cycle routes also link to the Tissington and High Peak Trails, which are some of the most gorgeous and picturesque trails that Derbyshire and the Peak District has to offer. What a fab and fun kids party idea!
