Fancy a really challenging and exciting activity? Caving will be right up your street. Caving in Derbyshire is an excellent all year round outdoor activity, whatever the weather and there is a cave to suit all ages and abilities.
The Peak District is the home to some of the BEST caving locations in the country – it boasts many caves and old lead mines to explore in a wonderland of passages, streams, fossils and even waterfalls in places. A great way to escape the hustle and bustle where the sound of silence is truly golden. Welcome to the home of UK caving.
We’ll all set off together as a group. This means no standing around waiting for your turn. And yes, every child is encouraged and motivated throughout the journey. And all the time in the hands of some of the finest Instructors in the country.
Your kids will be twittering on about this experience for months after. Mother nature can throw some pretty cool stuff at you when you give it the chance.
This activity will take place in The Peak District at one of the following locations, depending on the time of year – Black Rocks, Stoney Middleton, Beeley Moor or Millers Dale.
Bring along a picnic if you fancy, as there are some beautiful locations to enjoy some food after the event. Or we can recommend numerous local pubs or cafes in the area if that’s more your thing.
OK – helmets on, and let’s go take on those caves!
