Searching around for your child’s next birthday party idea, or looking to entertain the kids for the day? We know as parents ourselves that the more unique the better!
So we were over the moon when we found out that Sarah and her team offer this wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with their lovely alpacas.
On arrival, they’ll welcome you and your children onto their farm which is located in the heart of the Peak District, and they’ll introduce you to their woolly family!
This fully inclusive and immersive experience includes a family friendly induction, where you’ll all learn how to handle an alpaca. There are quite a few different types of alpaca, which you’ll learn about too.
Then it’s off for a walk around the farm, finishing up with a chance to sit with the alpacas and have a look at the latest babies that arrived earlier in the year. How cool is that?!
We recommend making sure that you come prepared for all weathers, and bring along waterproof boots and a jacket.
Walks start at 10am or 2pm, and last for approximately 90 minutes.
